I'm Melanie and this is my sweet escape ♥
I started my page originally as a form of disclosure: I'm a real worrier at heart so tend to let 101 matters whir around my head which, if ignored, will overcome me. I needed somewhere or something where I could just let go, and my blog became that indispensable gateway to a clear and peaceful mind. I feel as though, this once novel concept rapidly became something truly special in my eyes, and I take such pride now in each individual post, as I have stated in a previous post "I felt weak when I started out as a blogger: I've always doubted my significance and felt my opinion was only called upon if my previous colleagues needed a new subject for derision, I feel now I have proved them, and myself, wrong. I'm taking each day as it comes and a vital part of doing so shall be publicating my progress, whether that be via video update or blog entry".
Here's a Q&A for a little background info:
How old are you? I'm 18 and my birthday is in January
Are you in education or working? No, sadly I'm not in education. I've been to two colleges, both assisted the emergence of a very bleak time for me. I have just this week (13/07/15) started out as a PA so am planning to see where this takes me as it's a complete new and foreign concept with regard to my previous experience.
Do you live at home? Yes, I live with my mum and little sister in Hampshire.
Are you single or taken? I am very much taken, and have been since the 7th December last year!
Do you just blog? I did venture out and try my hand at youtubing... it wasn't for me, but here's a link to my channel
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? I'm actually going to be attending the Open University from October so see myself coming to the end of several years of study, with the intention to take pupillage with a Barrister.
What do you hope to achieve from your blog? my blog is predominantly used as respite for me, so I don't exactly have an end goal in mind..
